About Zachary Calhoun

Zachary Calhoun is an environmental writer from New Mexico. He is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Iowa State University, where he teaches creative writing, environmental humanities, philosophy, and film studies courses. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing and Environment from Iowa State University and a PhD in Philosophy from Tulane University.

 

Zachary Calhoun's fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction have appeared in literary journals like Moon City Review, Potomac Review, Union Spring Literary Review, Five on the Fifth, Last Leaves Magazine, Eunoia Review, From Sac, and After the Pause. His critical essays and scholarship have appeared in The Review of Metaphysics, Pli: The Warwick Journal of Philosophy, and Flyway: Journal of Writing and Environment.
